Cemetery records state Sarah Lowrie is buried in an unmarked grave in Scrubgrass Presbyterian Cemetery (see Memorial #113968158). There is speculation she could have been moved at a later date to Richland Presbyterian Cemetery - there is no record of this move.
A best guess would be this marker was erected for her husband, John, and her memory - their daughter, Eliza Lowrie Ritchey is also buried in Richland Presbyterian Cemetery (Memorial #45188164).
Sarah's husband, John, died and is buried in Mobile, Alabama. (see Memorial #77599767)
