Since the foregoing was written, little Roy, the remaining child, a bright four-year-old, has been taken, and at 6:30 A. M., June 12th, the eyes of the darling boy were closed by the grim monster, Death. It was hoped that this one, at least, the last of their little happy family, might be spared as a protector to his aged parents, but the angels were waiting to bear his gentle spirit over the river, seemingly regardless of the grief and desolation they were bringing to an earthly home.
"With silence only as their benediction,
God's angels come,
Where in the shadow of a great affliction,
The soul sits dumb."
At 5 o'clock the same afternoon, the casket containing all that remained of bright little Roy was borne to the beautiful hillside, upon which the heart-broken parents must leave him to sleep beside his sisters who went before to the narrow house of death, whose doors shall be only thrown open when Gabriel's trump shall call forth the sleepers from the city of the dead.

Roy Brown,

whose stone reads:
Tis a little grave
But oh have care
For world wide hopes
are buried there.
