George Walter Moore, age 86 years, born Jan 15, 1867, died Saturday May 16. Born in Jae Davis County, Ill., and spent his earlier years in Villesca, Iowa. He married Maude Whipple, March 17, 1897. Bringing his family to Oregon 41 years ago (1912), he settled at Clackamas, later moving to the community of Beavercreek.
Those who survive him are his wife Maude, two sons, William Claire Moore, Rt. 3, Oregon City; Bernard E. Moore of Idaho; four grandchildren, Betty Baller, James Moore, George Moore, Maxine Koenig, three great-grandchildren; one brother, Harry E. Moore, Anacortes, Wash.; one sister, Miss Minnie Moore, Bender, Neb.
Services will be held at Holman-Hankings-Rilance Funeral Home, Wednesday, May 20 at 1:30 PM. Rev. Lee Knoll will officiate and interment will follow in the Beavercreek Cemetery.

One of the surviving relatives of George Walter Moore was left from the funeral notice that appeared in the May 19 issue of the Enterprise-Courier. A brother, Charles A. Moore, Villisca, Iowa, was unable to attend the services.
