Geraldine Hunter, 72, of the 7100 block of Nesbitt Dr., passed away June 30, 2005 in Bon Secour Regional Memorial Hospital. A native of Norfolk, she was born to the late Earnest and Katie Hunter. She was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church and a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. Her memory will be cherished by a son, Aubrey L. Hunter of Norfolk; a daughter, Angela R. Hunter of Richmond; a special niece, Brenda F. Stith of Norfolk; a brother, Albert Hunter (Sharlette) of Virginia Beach; and a host of other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, Calvary Cemetery, 1600 St. Julian Ave., Norfolk. Family and friends will assemble 12 Noon, Metropolitan Funeral Service, 7246 Granby St. for the procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday and Sunday at 7109 Nesbitt Dr., Richmond. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com
