Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1809 E. Third St., Dayton, for Aaron D. Bates, 10, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Bates of Xenia.
He died at 3 a.m. Tuesday in Bronx, N.Y. Burial will be in Byron Cemetery, Fairborn. He was a student in Lincoln School in Dayton.
Other survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John D. Bates of 116 Missouri Ave., Dayton; two sisters, Karen Lynn and Sharon Lee and one brother, Baron Scott, all at home. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday.
