Mr. Guess, who was 70, died at 7:50 a.m. yesterday at his home. He was a member of Buntyn Street Baptist Church and was a Mason. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Billie Rodgers Guess; five sons, Edward Guess Jr. of 945 Hester, James A. Guess of 587 Haynes, Robert E. Guess of 1623 Wilson, B. Joe Guess of Knoxville and Donald W. Guess of 3107 Capen; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Kaleta of 3333 Scenic Terrace; a brother, Joseph D.
