Nellie M. Pennington, 75, of Choctaw, OK, passed away July 24, 2013, in Oklahoma City, OK. Born Oct. 30, 1937, in Omega, OK, she was the daughter of Elmer and Ica (Sinclair) Pemberton. Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and three sisters. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Bill Pennington, of the home; three children: Sharane (Tony) Lopez, of Midwest City, OK; James "Lee" Pennington, of the home; and Chandra (Warren) Welt, of Harrah, OK; nine grandchildren, Brittany, Aubrie, Jolstin, Rebecca, Jake, Shelby, Caleb, Chandin, and Abigail; one brother, Harold Pemberton, of Texas; three sisters: Thelma Hightower and Nancy Tripp, of Oklahoma; and Naomi Newberry, of California; brother-in-law, Jimmy Pennington, of Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.
