Pemberton, Chrettie Jane, was born Augst 21, 1926, at Kingfisher, Ok. She passed away unexpectedly at her home on March 15, 1996. She later moved with her family to Fay, Okla. Chrettie graduated from Fay High School in 1947. She attended Hills Business School in Oklahoma City.

Chrettie moved to Houston, Texas when she was employed with Gulf oil Corp., for 33 years. Upon retiring she moved back to Oklahoma City in 1983.

Chrettie was preceded in death by her mother and father, Elmer Harold and Ica Amy (Sinclair) Pemberton. She leaves to mourn her passing two brothers, Francis V. Pemberton of Fleming, Colorado, Harold H. Pemberton of Hurst, Texas; six sisters, Emily A Cook of Watonga, Okla., Thelma E. Hightower of OKC, Ok.; Nancy J. Tripp of Ringling, Okla.; Mabel L. Hicks of Mulvane, KS.; Nellie M. Pennington of Choctaw, Okla.; Naomi R. Newberry of Antioch, Calif. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be at the Capital Hill Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday March 19, 1996, at 2:00 p.m. with interment at Resthaven memory Gardens.
