Age 94. Lifelong Whitewater resident. Died at the Countryside Home in Jefferson Friday, July 29, 2005. She was born June 11, 1911 in Racine, WI, the daughter of George and Florence (Platt) Dailey. She was married to Clarance Bigelow Sr. on September 11, 1926 in Delavan, WI. They lived in the Whitewater area their entire lives. Catherine was a member of First United Methodist Church in Whitewater and was an active member of the United Methodist Church Women and also was a member in the Busy Boosters. Catherine enjoyed her family and her extended family. She loved to garden, raise flowers, traveling and adventuring. She is survived by three sons, Clarance (Nancy) Bigelow Jr of Whitewater, Thomas (Judi) Bigelow of Winchester, IN and Chuck (Sue) Bigelow of Hernandaz, FL; six daughters, June (Robert) Burdick of Branson, MO, Bonnie (Bernie) Siegmann of Wisconsin Rapids, Carol (Tom) Jordens of Neosho, WI, Susan (Lawrence) Storck of Grand Marsh, WI, Donna (Bill) Lewis of Rapid River, MI and Ellie (Rick) Hartmann of Whitewater; 34 grandchildren, 98 great-grandchildren and 57 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, parents and her brothers and sisters.
