HUNTINGTON — Elizabeth Massey, 93, of Huntington, formerly of Beckley, died Friday, February 18, 2011, at The Inn at Wyngate, Barboursville. She was born August 8, 1917, in Logan, W.Va., a daughter of the late William Howard and Lou Ella Harvey Reed. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley, retired from Meadow Gold Dairy and Beckley Dance Theatre. She was also preceded by her husband, James Owen Massey. Surviving are her daughter, Victoria M. Neighborgall (Charles III) of Huntington; two grandchildren, Charles R. Neighborgall IV (Beth) of Huntington and Elizabeth Ann Gamponia (Edgar) of Morgantown; 6 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Alice Levins (Mickie) of Anchorage, Alaska, and Katharine Marie Reed (Billie) of Panama City, Florida; a brother, James H. Reed of Huntington; and special friends Jerry and Sherry Rose. Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 21, 2011, at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary, Huntington, by Dr. Paul Russell. Committal services will be held 2:30 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum B, Beckley. Friends may call Monday 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
