Funeral services for John Clemons, 31, will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Baxter Funeral Home with Rev Ray Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Smellage Cemetery.
Mr. Clemons death occurred Wednesday at a Nashville hospital following a long illness. A native of Putnam County, he was a farmer of Baxter Rt 2. He was a member of the Church of God and the son of the late Ambrose and Allie Henderson Clemons.
Survivors are a daughter, Miss Mildred Clemons, Lima, Oh; 4 brothers, Edward, Baxter; Harvey, Lebanon; Chester, Nashville and J C, Silver Point; 2 sisters, Vida Gamble, Peru, In; Maria Maynard, Baxter.
