Her name was spelled Katarina in her death record but is Kathryn on her gravestone. She was the daughter of Peter and Mary Curto. Both of her parents were immigrants from Italy. (The spelling of her mother's maiden name is given as Eriett on her death certificate and is probably inaccurate.) Kathryn married Peter Bronzo (1885-), an immigrant from Italy, on August 1, 1911. The couple had a daughter Renee, born on June 17, 1912, who died in 1997. Peter remarried in 1917 to Kathryn's sister Mae Curto. Peter's brother Antonio simultaneously married Kathryn's sister Anna Curto.
