A native of Buncombe County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Albert "Charlie" and Bessie Burrell and wife of Frank O. Hunsinger.
She was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church and retired from Sears and Roebuck Company.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, B.F. Hunsinger and wife Robin of Inman; a daughter, Pat Taylor-Rice of Spartanburg; a sister, Elsie Forrester of Campobello; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family received friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2005 at Petty Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2005 at Petty Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Gary Hensley. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
