Daughter of John B. and Jennie Wigren Lawson. Survived by her husband Alton Lindberg whom she married 6-22-1938, a son, a daughter, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A lifelong area resident, she was born April 14, 1918, in Busti, the daughter of John B. and Jennie Wigren Lawson. She was the wife of Alton Lindberg, whom she married June 22, 1938 in Busti. She was a 1936 graduate of Jamestown High School and was employed in the cafeteria at Jamestown High School for 12 years, retiring in 1985. She also was a clerk at Grants Department Store for two years and Pearson's Market for seven years. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Churchm where she was active in the Women's Society, MOPS, Hospitality Committee, was secretary and treasurer of the Home Builders and was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was also a member of American Scandinavian Heritage Foundation, Home Bureau, Charles Street and Persell School Parent Teachers Association and ''Club.'' She was a loving wife, the best mother, Gram and GG to her family. She loved knitting, cooking, parties and caring for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Robert A. Lindberg of East Greenbush; a daughter, Nancy L. Nordwall of Jamestown; six grandchildren: Sherri Nordwall Pingitore of Mansfield, Ohio, Robert B. Nordwall of Forestville, Douglas A. Nordwall of Jamestown, Robert M. and Matthew Lindberg, both of East Greenbush, and Andrew Lindberg of Troy; five great-grandchildren; a Brother In Law, Egon of North Wales, PA who she helped to raise, Nieces and Nephews and many Great Nieces and Nephews and a sister, Jean L. Rinaldo of Jamestown. She was preceded in death by a brother, Earl W. Lawson who died Jan. 9, 1988.
