Mamie Atchley, 86, of Rice passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2002 in Ennis.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Corley Funeral Home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Corley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dale Shultz officiating. Interment will follow at Rice Cemetery.
Mrs. Atchley was born Oct. 11, 1915 in Boyce. She was a member of Haynie Memorial Methodist Church in Rice.
She was preceded in death by her husband, V. B. Atchley; son, J. W. Atchley; and daughter, Barbara Williams.
Survivors include her grandsons, James Atchley and Wayne Williams, both of Rice, and Russell Williams of Corsicana; granddaughters, Judy Blake of Barry, Tammy Clark, Cindy Shelton and Cathy Wyatt, all of Rice, and Gina Hut of Irving; daughter-in-law, Betty Atchley of Rice; son-in-law, Joe Williams; sister, Flora Smith of Houston; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
