NORMAN L. HILLYER

MADISON - A funeral service for Norman L. Hillyer, 65, of 47 Englishtown Road, Old Bridge, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Eekman Funeral Home, 475 Main St., Spotswood. The Rev. Paul C. Kinzler, pastor of the Old Bridge Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Old Bridge.

Mr. Hillyer, husband of Mrs. Verna Fowler Hillyer, died Thursday in Middlesex General Hospital. A native of Old Bridge, he lived here all of his life and had retired in September from the Anheuser-Busch Inc., Old Bridge, where he had been employed 12 years. Prior to that time, Mr. Hillyer worked for the Unexcelled Chemical Co. in Cranbury.

Besides his wife, Mr. Hillyer is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Aletta Rhodes of Old Bridge: one sister, Mrs. Grace Fowler of Berlin; two brothers, Ross Hillyer of Marlboro and Percy Hillyer of Spotswood, also two grandchildren.
