Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 11, for Mrs. Luttie Chris Burchfield 64 who died Friday, Aug.11 in Jackson.
Services were held at 2 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel in Kosciusko with burial in Oakridge Cemetery near Kosciusko.
The Baton Rouge resident was a retired cook for East Louisiana State Hospital and was a member of the Oakridge Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, James Hugh Burchfield; and son, Billy Joe Dendy of Baker, La.; a daughter, Mrs. Rachel Ann Chandler of Houston, Texas, a brother, Josh Burnt of Kosciusko; four sisters, Mrs. J. B. Phultz of Kenner, La., Florilla Burchfield of French Camp, Mrs. Blanche Box and Mrs. Effie Bennett of Winona; and three grandchildren.
