Funeral services for Mrs. Jim Andrus, 83, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Landry Catholic Church here with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington. The funeral will be held on the same day that would have been her 62nd wedding anniversary. The Rev. Eugene Tremie will conduct the services.
Mrs. Andrus, maiden name Elizabeth Devillier, died at 10:30 p.m. March 17, 2000 in Opelousas General Hospital.

She was a retired lunch room manager with Opelousas Catholic School where she worked 27 years.

Survivors include: her husband, Joseph Milton "Jim" Andrus of Opelousas; her son, Joseph Milton Andrus Jr. of Port Barre; her daughter, Mamie Harville and husband Tom of Shreveport; four brothers, Joseph O. "Cop-cop" Devillier, Julian Devillier
Jr. and Leroy Devillier of Opelousas, and Raymond Devillier of Erath; three sisters, Annie Lalonde of Pecanierre, Hazel Ortego of Washington and Effie Saucier of Opelousas; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A wake will be held today from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until time of service Monday. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.

Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas is in charge of the arrangements.
