Margaret E. Ferree
Margaret E. Ferree, 95, of Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg, formerly of Lykens, died Friday at Community General Osteopathic HosptiaL Lower Paxton Township.
Born in Tower City, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Theresa Kauffman Antes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest C. Ferree.
Mrs. Ferree was a retired employee of B.R. AppareL Inc., Wiconisco.
She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers union.
Mrs. Ferree was of the Protestant faith.
Surviving are, a daughter, Frances J. Thompson, Enola; three sisters, Bessie Hoffman, Millersburg, Rachel Kopp and Merle Shreve, both of Tower City; a brother, Charles Antes, Tower City; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday from John M. Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens. The Rev. Lloyd Shellenberger will officiate. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Lykens.
