MARION-Imogene Parks, 84, of Marion passed away 7:35 AM, Friday, October 1, 2004 at Parkway Manor, Marion. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 3, 2004 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Eddie Pullen officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Saturday, October 2, 2004 at the funeral home. Burial will be at County Line Cemetery, Creal Springs. Mrs. Parks was born on February 11, 1920 in Williamson County, Illinois to Gilbert and Lura Mae (Sutton) Malcolm. She married Oscar Parks on August 9, 1940 in Jackson, Missouri, he preceded her in death on June 3, 1999. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers; and six sisters. Mrs. Parks was a homemaker and mother. She retired from Smoler Brothers in Herrin. She was a member of Cornerstone Community Church.
