Mrs. Eva M. Baker

Mrs. Eva M. Baker, 77, Topeka, died Sunday, Jan. , 1990, at a Topeka nursing home.
Mrs. Baker was a lifelong Topeka resident.
She was a member of First Congregational Church.
She was born Feb. 4, 1912, in Topeka, the daughter of Noah and Mary Savannah Falwell Blocher.

She married Harold D. Baker Oct. 17, 1927, in Holton. He died Jan. 23, 1960.
Survivors include a daughter, Neva Jean Washington, Topeka; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Hope Garden Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Baker will lie in state at Tibbitts-Griffin Funeral Chapel after noon today until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. The casket will remain closed except during visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Capper Foundation for Crippled Children, 3500 W. 10th, 66604.
