Mrs. Jones was born a daughter of the late Arthur B. and Charlotte Kellogg LeClerc and was a resident of Southport for over 51 years. During those years, she was very active within the community. She was past President and life member of the Southport Garden Club; past President and member of the Southport Womens Club; received her Master Gardener status; she was a Jaycette; belonged to several Bridge clubs and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She retired in 2001 as a Real Estate Agent with Caldwell Bankers. Susan died at New Hanover Regional Medical Center at age 73.
