Mrs. Daisy Allan, the wife of Charles Otto Allan, died at her home in New York City, Tuesday night, Dec. 2nd, at 11:40 o'clock. She was forty years of age. Her health had been failing for the past year. She was a patient sufferer through all her illness; a kind and devoted wife and mother, and loved by all who knew her.

The deceased was a daughter of the late Charles and Alida Reynolds, of Hurleyville. She was born at Loch Sheldrake, where she spent her childhood days. She was united in marriage to Charles Otto Allan, of Monticello, on October 12, 1896, and they have made their home in New York for the past seventeen years. She is survived by the following relatives, who feel her loss very keenly: her husband, two children, Keith and Alida, at home, and one grandson, and the following brothers and sisters: Milton, of Livingston Manor; William, of Brooklyn; Hattie, the wife of Charles Slater, of Fallsburgh; Ralph, Bert and Grace, the wife of Daniel Lounsbury, of Hurleyville; J. C. Reynolds, of Fallsburgh; and Alwilda, the wife of Geo. Reynolds of Central Valley.

Her remains were taken to Hurleyville and funeral services were held in the Methodist Church there, conducted by Rev. Mr. Kelly, of Liberty. Interment in the Hurleyville Cemetery.
