Edward Meadows, 85, of Bob White, WV passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Loretta Meadows; son, Ronnie Meadows; grandson, Richard Meadows II; mother, Eva Meadows; and father, Elisha Meadows.
He was a retired coal miner and a member of the UMWA 1503 Local Union. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Cazy Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by five children, Jack Meadows of Wharton, Robert Meadows of Cazy, Alice Warden of Fayetteville, Richard Meadows of Beaver and Sandra Curry of Barrett; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 17 at Cazy Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Gilfilen officiating. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery, Bald Knob.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
