Arthur Bennett Dies of Injuries Received in Mine Accident Two Weeks Ago

Arthur Bennett, aged 35, a well known resident of 35 Pershing street, died yesterday morning at 8 o'clock in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, as a result of a broken back received by a fall of rock while at work in the Stanton colliery of the Lehigh & Wilkes-Barre Coal Co. two weeks ago. Deceased is survived by his wife, three sons, Charles, Wilbur and Raymond, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emmanuel Bennett, and the following sisters and brothers, Mrs. John R. Jones, of Rochester, N. Y.; Mrs. William Griffith, Gertrude and Charles. The funeral will be held from the family home on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. A. B. Russell, pastor of First P. M. Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Hollenback Cemetery.
