Danville--Mrs. Reva Connelly Moore, 76, died Saturday afternoon at her home after an illness of eight years. Born in Campbell County, she was a daughter of Maria Minix Connelly and James Anderson Connelly. She was educated in Campbell County public schools and at Virginia Intermont College and Averrett College. Mrs. Moore taught a publc schools in Campbell and Pittsylvania counties and the city of Danville. She was married to Sandy James Moore on June 20, 1931 and was resident of Danville since that time. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Wednesday Club. In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Sandy James Moore, Jr., of Richmond, two brothers, Grady Connelly of Charlotte, N.C. and Hatcher Connelly of Lynchburg, two sisters, Mrs. L. R. Hale of Alavista and Mary Connelly of Lynchburg, three grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. from First Baptist Church by the Rev. Robert Heard with interment in Highland Burial Park.
