Claude Denney, 92, of Collinsville, died Friday, April 2, at Lewis-Gale Hospital in Salem.
Denney retired from DuPont Construction as office manager, and also the Virginia Highway Department as a traffic recorder.
He was born Oct. 24, 1906, in Harrington, Del.
His wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Umberger Denney, died in 1997.
Surviving are a son, Raymond C. Denney, and a daughter, Carole D. Denney, both of Roanoke.
There will be a graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Roselawn Burial Park.
