Friends of Clara E. Brewster were saddened to learn of her death which occurred Tuesday evening at Port Jervis, N. Y., following an illness of only a week. She was born in Parkman sixty years ago the daughter of Elma A. and Grace Brewster, but had lived in Dexter nearly all her life, going to Port Jervis a few years ago to make her home with her brother, Dr. Hugh Brewster.

Miss Brewster was a member of the Free Baptist church, Wassookeag Chapter No. 44, 0. E. S. and ofRebecca Weston chapter, D. A. R., No. 28., and for many years was a valued member of the Suinshine club.

Services will be held at the Free Baptist church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Horace H. Hayes of Milo, former pastor of the church, officiating.

Surviving, besides her brother, are an uncle, William E. Brewster of Dexter, two nieces, Mrs. Betty Brewster Dutton of Andover, Mass., and Miss Grace Brewster of Port Jervis; one nephew, William Brewster, of Port Jervis; and two cousins, Charles S. Brewster of Dexter and Hon. Ralph O. Brewster of Dexter and Washington, D. C.
