Robert and Sarah Arnold were a young, childless, married couple at the time of the 1860 Census. He was born about 1830 in England or Ireland, and she was born about 1840 in Canada. Robert was a miner and registered voter at least through 1864. There is no record of the family beyond that point that I have found. Their three babies buried here were likely born in the late 1850s and in the 1860s, and Sarah and Robert must have moved away before 1870. In 1870, Robert and Sarah Arnold were living at Bishop Creek in Inyo County. They were still childless. Robert passed away May 24, 1911, in Inyo County.
