ALMOND B. LOVEJOY

Almold B. Lovejoy, 76, died Tuesday morning at the Scouten Nursing Home, Candor, after a long illness.
Mr. Lovejoy had been a life-long Candor resident. Born here on Feb. 18, 1879, he was the son of Lyman B. and Mandana McGilfrey Lovejoy. For thirty years he was employed by the Candor Glove Co.
Surviving Mr. Lovejoy is his wife, Mrs. Cora Boyd Lovejoy; one brother, Raymond Lovejoy of Candor; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Smith and Mrs. Edith Mann, both of Binghamton; a nephew, Merle Lovejoy of Candor; and three step-daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Elmendorf of Candor, Mrs. George Blodgett of Owego and Mrs. Virgil Blodgett of Endicott.
Funeral services are being held this afternoon (Thursday) at Miller's Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry Mosley, pastor of the Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
