MRS. BENJAMIN BAILEY
Mrs. Mary E. (Lovejoy) Bailey, wife of Benjamin Bailey died at her home, 109 Floral Ave., Binghamton on Sunday, November 19, after a long illness.
She was the daughter of Lyman and Mandana (McGillfry) Lovejoy and was born in Candor. While a resident of Candor she was active in church matters and after moving to Binghamton some 20 years ago, continued in the work there making a host of friends who will deeply mourn her loss.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two brothers, A. B. Lovejoy and R. M. Lovejoy of Candor and one sister Mrs. Curtis Mix of Owego.
The funeral was held on Wednesday at the Gould Funeral Home with the Rev. John Siverwright officiating. Burial was made in Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor.
