Walton Linkous, 61, of 2307 Hill Ave., an Armco Steel employee for 41 years, died at 8:40 a.m. Saturday at Middletown Hospital, where he had been a patient since Jan. 17. He had been in failing health for a year.

Mr. Linkous, a native of Campton, Ky., was employed in the stainless steel department at Armco.

He is survived by his wife, Alma; one son, Wilfred of Middletown; three brothers, William, Rex and Floyd, all of Middletown; four sisters, Mrs. Josephine Carberry, Mrs. Ella O'Hara and Mrs. Anna Collier, all of Middletown, and Mrs. Viola Collier of Pine Ridge, Ky.; and two grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Henry Howard officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
