Mr. Linkous retired in 1960 from Armco Steel Corp. He was born in Kentucky and had been a resident of Middletown 44 years, coming here from Illinois.
Surviving are his wife, Ora; a son, Donald of Monroe; two brothers, Rex and Bill of Middletown; four sisters, Mrs. Ella O'Hair of Middletown, Mrs. Josephine Carberry of Red Lion, Mrs. Ann Collier of Franklin and Mrs. Viola Collier of Campton, Ky.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Joseph R. Baker & Sons Funeral Home, with the Rev. Henry Howard officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
