Jeanette Asbell Crawford
MOULTRIE — Jeanette Asbell Crawford, 85, of Moultrie, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at Agape Health and Rehabilitation.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Hopewell Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Felts officiating.

Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Roger Tillman, James Phillips, Chris Phillips, Brett Asbell, Jimmy Ponder and Mike Arnold.

Born Dec. 12, 1927, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late William Elijah Asbell and Lillie Mae Crosby Asbell.

She was a homemaker and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leo Crawford; one son, Richard Leo Crawford; three brothers and six sisters.

Survivors include one daughter, Judith Ralyea and husband Robert of Freehold, N.J.; one brother, Grady Asbell and wife Virginia of Moultrie; five grandchildren, Michelle Huffman, Jeaninne Hinkel, Erika Ann Brookhaven, Robert Benjamin Crawford and Bryan Ralyea; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday at Hopewell Baptist Church.

The family may be contacted at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Phillips, 200 Twin Lakes Drive, Moultrie.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church, Building Fund.
