Patricia Myhre, of Montevideo, Minnesota, died on Monday, August 19, 2013, at the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital at the age of 71.
Patricia DeAnn Myhre was born on February 17, 1942, in Clarkfield, Minnesota, to Melvin and Theoline (Thompson) Hegna. She was baptized and confirmed at Hazel Run Lutheran Church and graduated from Clarkfield High School in 1960. On June 8, 1963, she was united in marriage to Wayne Myhre at Hazel Run Lutheran Church. They lived and farmed in Mandt Township for many years. After living on the farm for 29 years, they moved into Montevideo in 2002. She was a longtime member of Jevnaker Lutheran Church and currently was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church. She took pride and was known for her immaculate cleaning. She enjoyed attending local sporting events, visiting, and especially her grandchildren and their activities.
She is survived by her two daughters: Lisa and Stacey; four grandchildren: Nick, Karina, Kaden and Carson; five sisters: Marilyn, Maysel, Janice, Kathleen and Kathryn; five brothers: Marvin, Wayne, David, Larry and Melvin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne in 2012; a son, Scott Myhre in 1987; her parents; four brothers: Virgil, Douglas, Wesley and Dennis (Dickie).
