Mrs. Frank Allen, an old-timer among Cove settlers, who dropped dead as she stepped from her door in the course of some household work at her home in Union Sunday morning, was buried yesterday in the Shoemaker family lot in Cove cemetery. Mrs. Allen was about 52 years of age and leaves, beside her husband and son, three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Chappet, Mrs. Mary Foster, of Union, Or., and Mrs. Flora Lynch, of Portland.
