"Mrs. Jennie (Amanda) Rounsevell, 72, died late Tuesday morning (August 17, 1965) at her home, where she had lived for 22 years.

She was born Feb. 17, 1893, in Bismark, the daughter of Bert and Maggie Claypool.

Surviving are her husband, LeRoy, whom she married Feb. 6, 1954, in Danville; four sons, Arthur Cunningham of Alvin, Dale Cunningham of Mill Valley, Calif.; and Donald and Wayne Cunningham, both of Danville; four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Berry, Mrs. Clara Mae LeMay and Mrs. LeVon Monroe, all of Danville, and Mrs. Anna Brown of Tilton; four brothers, Charles of Oakwood, Ray of Danville, Ralph of Williamsport, Ind., and Herman of California. Also, five sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Hoskins of Michigan; Mrs. Mae Cunningham of Monticello, Ill., Mrs. Lena Hoskins of Kingsbury, Ind., Mrs. Beatrice Landsdown of Catlin and Mrs. Cecil Hittle of Demotte, Ind.; two stepsons, Charles Rounsevell of Spencer Road, Candor; and Richard Rounsevell of Florida; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mary Walker of Danville; 25 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

An infant son, a brother and a sister preceded her in death.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and the missionary society of the church.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 19, at the First Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. J. T. Myers and the Rev. Sylvester Smith officiated. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park." - Scrapbook newspaper clipping, undated, newspaper not identified (Obituary provided by Daryl Doty Holloway)
