The Juniata Sentinel "Looking Backward" column of Sept. 4, 2013 on page 4 noted that in 1893:
"On Friday, August 18th, accompanied by father and mother Louise K. Jackman boarded the Fast Lane [train] for Chicago's Columbian Exhibition [World's Fair]. An opera cloak of prairie chicken feathers took her eye at the exhibition. Lowest price offered for it was $5,000. The gondola parade along the lake was beautiful. The trip was a pleasure never to be forgotten."
