Her parents were 1st cousins once removed (her father's father and her mother's paternal grandfather were brothers) Giuseppa came to the US in 1920 and married her first cousin Antonino Leone (her father and his mother were full siblings) on March 6, 1920 in Manhattan, NYC. They had two daughters, Frances and Antonina (Barbara). Her husband died in 1921 and she married 2nd October 2, 1924 to Salvatore Giorannino. They had two sons Phillip and Anthony.
