Beitzinger (Smith), Lavina (23 March 1901 - 14 July 1959)

Mrs. Al Beitzinger, 58 of Long Beach, Calif., died at her home July 14, 1959. Funeral services were conducted at the Ermenc Funeral Home in Milwaukee at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 21. The Rev. I. Castagna officiated. Interment was in Highland Memorial Park.

The former Lavina Tietsch was born in Muscatine, Iowa, March 23, 1901.

She was married to Owen Smith of Loyal at Neillsville, Oct. 19, 1920. They lived at Loyal. He died in 1951. To this union three children were born. Also surviving are her second husband, Al Beitzinger of Long Beach; 19 grandchildren; three brothers, Frank Tietsch, Mishawaka, Ind.; Harold Tietsch, Owen; and Curtis Tietsch, Laredo, Texas; and three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Altmann, Muscatine, Iowa; Mrs. Floy Schnoor, Owen; and Mrs. Ruth Lobdell, Montpelier, Iowa.
