Addie Durden Glisson, 78, died Thursday, My 6, 1999, at St. Luke's Hospital in Jacksonville after a sudden illness.
She was born in Palatka and had been a resident of Interlachen for most of her life. She was a charter member of the Trinity Holiness Church in Palatka where she had served as Sunday School teacher and treasurer. Her career was devoted to health care.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Della Mae Durden.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy M. and Robert C. Carey of Jacksonville, Carolyn S. and Bobby Brantley of Eldorado, Ill.; sons, George T. Parrish of Lawtey and Harley C. Parrish of Tallahassee; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday at the chapel of Masters Funeral Home in Palatka. Services will be held today, 10 a.m. at Trinity Holiness Church with Rev. Jessie J. Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery in Interlachen. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd 10 May 1999.)
