PAST FOUR SCORE YEARS.
   On Saturday at 1:30 p. m. occurred the death of Mrs. Emily Davenport, widow of Levi Davenport, at the home of her son, J. B. Davenport, 351 East Market street, of general debility, aged 83 years.
   Deceased was before marriage Emily Wilson of Coleville, Sussex County, New Jersey, and she resided there until her marriage in 1835. She and her husband removed to Port Jervis, and seventeen years ago came to live with their son in this city. Mr. Davenport died in 1890 at the age of 77 years. Deceased was a member of the Presbyterlan denomination. She was a good woman, devoted to her religion, solicitous for the welfare of her family. She won many friends by her admirable traits of character.
   Besides her son, J. B. Davenport, she is survived by another son, L. L. Davenport of Newark, N. J.
   The funeral will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon, with services at the house, conducted by Rev. J. B. Craven of the Grant Street Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Hollenback Cemetery.
