Moravia, June 14 - William Dennis, a well known resident of this section, died at his home, three miles north of here, at 9:30 o’clock yesterday morning as a result of a paralytic shock which he suffered last Wednesday. Death had been expected since the shock. Mr. Dennis would have been 87 years of age June 23. He was born in Niles, June 23, 1823, and has resided in Moravia nearly all his life. He is survived by one brother, David F. Dennis of Moravia. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with Rev. W. B. Jorris of the Congregational church conducting the services. Burial will be made at Indian Mound cemetery.
