Mary Mullins was the oldest daughter of Morgan Mullins and Elizabeth Jones. Born in Marion Cnty TN, she moved with her family to Madison Cnty MO, then to Fannin Cnty and Palo Pinto Cnty TX. She married David Cleveland in Palo Pinto Cnty on 14 Oct. 1857. They had two sons, Charles and William, who were raised by their paternal parents, Morgan and Betty, in Hill Cnty TX following the death of their mother in 1863. Family story states that Mary was buried in Palo Pinto Cemetery. However, no grave stone has been located as proof of burial site.
