Walter Cummings, a lifelong resident of Milford, died of heart disease at the Mary Imogene Bassett hospital, Cooperstown, Tuesday. Funeral services were held Thursday. Burial will be in Milford cemetery.Walter Cummings; son of Edward and Nettie Kniskern Cummings, was born on a farm two miles east of Milford May 18, 1888, and resided there until 1924 when he moved to Milford and was employed by OA Weatherly & Co., until about four years ago. His. wife, Anna Root Ingram, died October 19, 1943. He was a member of the Presbyterian church. Surviving are a brother, Gilbert Cummings of Cooperstown; and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Arthur Farone of Oneonta
