Hazleton Standard Speaker; Wednesday, January 2, 1974:
Mrs. Anna Volk, 631 Penn Lane, West Hazleton, died yesterday at 12:05 p.m. at the St. Joseph Hospital where she had been a patient for the past three weeks. She was born in Hazleton, a daughter of Rose Strack and the late Onufrey Kostiuk, and resided in West Hazleton for the past 17 years. Prior to retiring she was a supervisor at the S. S. Kresge Store, this city, and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church, West Hazleton.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Rose Strack, are the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. John (Mary) Walchonski, Bethlehem; Mrs. Helen Letchko, this city; Mrs. Anthony (Magdalene) Figurido, Allentown; Mrs. Warren (Catherine) Guis, this city; Raymond, Carpentersville, Ill.; Gerald, Jackson, N.J., and Mrs. George (Rosemarie) Matusick, Drums. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Private funeral service will be held Saturday at the convenience of the family from the Hilary J. Bonin Funeral Home, 99 W. Green St., West Hazleton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church, West Hazleton. Interment will be in St. Michael's Ukrainian Cemetery, this city. There will be no viewing.
