NEW BEDFORD; Mary Rose (Mello) Murray, 86, passed away Monday, November 12, 2012, unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife for 58 years of Francis A. Murray.

She was a lifelong resident of greater New Bedford, daughter of the late Antonio Sousa and Margarida (Cabral) Mello.
Formerly employed at Aerovox Corp. for 23 years and Allergy Assoc., as an billing clerk until her retirement.

Survivors include
-her husband of New Bedford,
-sister and caregiver Lauriana Charest of Acushnet,
-niece and caregiver Cheryl Calheta and her husband David of Acushnet,
-niece and caregiver Glenda Charest Durante of New Bedford,
-several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Elsie Oliveira and Florence M. Rocha.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass with her cremains present on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at 9 AM in St. Joseph/St. Therese Church, Acushnet Ave, New Bedford, MA.
Visiting hours omitted. Burial of her cremains at the convenience of the family.
