He married on August 16, 1915. They lived in Nada, and then in Garwood. They moved to Sabinal, Texas in December of 1926.
William was a farmer and carpenter. He first planted cotton, corn and maize, and then in later years he planted corn, oats, and maize, and raised sheep and cattle. He also made sugar cane syrup for his family and for other people. Mary kept the house and did some outside chores, tending to the chickens and milking the cows.
William died on February 25, 1955; Mary died on April 5, 1979. Both are buried in Sabinal, Texas.
