Mary M. Hamer, 91, of Wheaton, IL died Friday, August 22, 2008 at the DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray, Chris, and Brian Darsidan, Tim Harwood, and Jeff and Steve Gilbert.
Mary M. Kubesch was born on October 31, 1916 in San Antonio, TX to William and Mary (Popp) Kubesch. She married Richard C. Hamer in San Antonio, TX on January, 12, 1946; he died on January 7, 1982. She was a homemaker. She was a former member of the St. Irenaeus Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Hamer of Davenport, IA, Sandra (Patrick) Nowlin of Clinton, and Joanne (David) Gilbert of West Chicago, IL; 3 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 3 sisters, and one brother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son Kenneth, one brother, and one sister. Memorials may be made to the family or to a charity of choice.
