Margaret Camou Yzaguirre Phillips

Margaret passed away on September 14, 2013 at the age of 84. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Vera Camou; her beloved granddaughters, Vanessa Aruleta and Tiffany Ruiz; husbands, Manuel J. Yzaguirre and Chancy Phillips. She was born December 13, 1928 in Rialto, CA. There she met Manuel J. Yzaguirre at the Rialto Packing House where they both worked. Manuel and Margaret were married on December 15, 1946 in Manuel's hometown of Colton, CA.They settled in Colton where they raised their three children, Manuel J. Yzaguirre Jr., Mary Yzaguirre and Susan K. Yzaguirre. Margaret had 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 26 great great grandchildren. Margaret or Granny as she was lovingly called by her grandchildren was a co-caretaker of many of these grandchildren. Their love for her in immense due to the tender loving care she gave. To her children she was the best mother we could have had. Our loss is great and she will forever be missed. Margaret was a devoted Catholic and a 60 member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Colton.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 24, 2013 4-8pm at Montecito Mortuary Valley View Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hermosa Gardens Cemetery in Colton.
